General Dentistry

Ages Pre-K – 18

General dentistry is focused on repairing and restoring teeth that may be damaged, decayed, or missing. This is an essential part of oral health care for students in District 205 who need more than just routine cleanings. Currently, if students are assessed and require general dentistry, they will be taken to Oates Dental or Park City Dental until September 2025, when we will move to our permanent location at the Stenstrom Center.

General dentistry includes various procedures such as fillings for cavities, crowns to strengthen weakened teeth, extractions, and root canals for tooth restoration. These not only enhances the appearance of smiles but also plays a vital role in improving overall health, allowing students to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

The transportation provided in collaboration with the school systems is vital to the overall operations of our program and ensures that students have a reliable and consistent way to access the dental care they need for their health and well-being.

“I used to be really shy and felt lost, hiding under a blanket because of my rotted teeth. After having most of them extracted and getting my partial denture, I feel like a new person. Now I go by AJ, and I’m much more outgoing. It’s amazing how much of a difference this has made in my life. Education is just as important as the check-up and cleaning.”
